Chicken and Dumplings.
This is a classic American dish that I always read about but I’ve never tried, so I figured it was time to give it a go. It’s not the usual type of food I make, but it was genuinely so good. A deep chicken flavour, with a creamy mouthful with light and herby dumplings.
This was my first time making dumplings like this and I was surprised at his they came out – I thought they might end up heavy and doughy they were cooked perfectly, and the combo of chives and parsley brought in some much needed freshness.
I didn’t write up a recipe as I mainly ed these two, but I added in some fresh rosemary when poaching my chicken.
